Cookie Policy
Last updated: 26 April 2026
1. What are cookies
A cookie is a small piece of information a website stores on your device when you visit. Cookies let the site remember your actions and preferences (login, language, font size, etc.) over a period of time, so you don't have to re-enter them every time you come back or move from one page to another.
2. What cookies we use
At Mesero POS we minimise cookie usage. We use strictly necessary cookies for the service to function and, only with your consent, product-analytics cookies (PostHog) to understand how the site is used and improve it. We do not use advertising cookies, social-media pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies.
Quick summary: Mesero does not use Google Analytics or Facebook pixels. For product analytics we use PostHog, hosted in the European Union (eu.i.posthog.com), which only loads if you accept cookies in the consent banner. You can change your choice anytime using the buttons at the bottom of this page.
Technical cookies (strictly necessary)
These cookies are essential for the website to work and do not require your consent.

Analytics cookies (require your consent)
To measure site usage and improve the experience we use PostHog, a product-analytics platform hosted in the European Union (eu.i.posthog.com). PostHog activates only if you accept analytics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. If you reject, no tracking script is loaded.
When active, PostHog cookies allow us to:
- Identify the browser pseudonymously to avoid double-counting the same session.
- Link multiple page views to the same session to understand the user journey.
- Where enabled, record session replays with form fields and passwords masked by default, to diagnose UX issues.

PostHog operates under a data processing agreement compliant with article 28 GDPR. More information at posthog.com/privacy.
Social and advertising cookies
We don't use any. Mesero does not include social-media share buttons that drop third-party cookies, and does not run programmatic advertising with tracking pixels.
3. How to manage or disable cookies
You can configure your browser to accept or reject cookies, block third-party cookies, or delete stored cookies. See your browser's instructions:
Note that disabling technical cookies may cause some features to stop working (for example, you will not be able to stay signed in).
4. Consent
Strictly necessary technical cookies apply by default when you use the service, in line with article 22.2 LSSI-CE, and do not require prior consent. Analytics cookies (PostHog) only activate if you explicitly accept them in the banner shown on your first visit.
You can change your choice anytime using the buttons below. Your preference is stored in your browser's local storage so we don't have to ask again on every visit.
5. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect new features or legal changes. We recommend reviewing it periodically. The last revision date is shown at the top of the document.
